Privacy policy
The short version: Reground collects no data about you. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Everything you write, draw, or practice stays on your device. We couldn’t read your journal even if we wanted to — it never reaches us.
What we collect
Nothing. Reground has no sign-up, no login, and no backend. The app never transmits your content, your usage, or your identity to us or to anyone else. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and the app contains no third-party SDKs.
Where your content lives
Journal entries, thought records, drawings, session history, favorites, and settings are stored only in the app’s local storage on your device. They are included in your device backups if you use iCloud Backup or local backups (that is between you and Apple — we have no access). Deleting the app permanently deletes all of this content.
Purchases
Reground offers one optional one-time purchase, processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details, name, or address. Apple provides us with no personally identifying information about buyers. Purchases can be restored on any device signed into the same Apple ID, and refunds are handled by Apple under their standard terms.
Health information
Anything you write in Reground may be sensitive to you — that is exactly why it never leaves your phone. Reground is a self-care toolkit, not medical care, and it does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any condition. If you are struggling, a mental-health professional can help in ways an app can’t.
Children
Reground is not directed at children under 13, and since we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from children.
Changes to this policy
If Reground ever adds a feature that changes this picture (for example, optional iCloud sync), this policy will be updated first, the change will be opt-in, and the app will say so plainly. The current promise stands: by default, nothing leaves your phone.
